Discord Webhook Integration

Last updated Aug 10, 2026

Setting Up Discord Integration

Dungeon Manager posts formatted Rich Embed notifications to your campaign's Discord server using webhooks:

  1. Create Webhook in Discord — Open your Discord server settings → IntegrationsWebhooksNew Webhook, select your campaign channel, and click Copy Webhook URL.
  2. Configure in Campaign Settings — In Dungeon Manager, go to your campaign's Players & Settings panel. Toggle Enable Discord Webhook, paste the webhook URL into the input field, and click Save.
  3. Test Webhook — Click Test Webhook to send a confirmation ping directly to your Discord channel.

What Gets Posted

Once configured, Dungeon Manager automatically formats and posts:

  • Scheduling Proposals (SessionProposal) — Posts proposed session dates, timezone details, and a green action button directing players to the Scheduling portal (/portal/scheduling) to cast their availability votes.
  • Session Recaps (Session) — Formats story beat timelines with color-coded entity badges (blue for sessions, green for NPCs, purple for quests), XP awards, attendee rosters, and a direct link to the shareable recap page.
  • Session Logged — Instant notification when a new session is created or wrap-up completed.
