Character Details

Backstory

The first thing Whisper remembers is moonlight on water and the smell of night-blooming jasmine. She woke in a garden that shouldn't exist — a perfect circle of silver flowers in the middle of a dead forest, with no memory of who she was or how she got there. Her body knew things her mind didn't: how to move without sound, how to find the shadows in a well-lit room, how to strike a pressure point that stops a heart. She chose the name Whisper because it was the first word she heard — someone, or something, whispering her old name just beyond the edge of hearing. She's been chasing that whisper for three years, following visions of a monastery on a mountain that no map shows. She doesn't know if she's running toward something or away from it.

A lean, dark-furred tabaxi who moves with unsettling precision. Her silver eyes seem to track things other people can't see. She wears simple, dark clothing and no jewelry — except a single silver ring on her left hand that she can't remove.
