Dareth was squired to a Knight of the Crown in Solamnia and earned his knighthood defending a border outpost against a Red Dragonarmy raiding party. Though the old knights scoff at his interest in arcane magic — a rare talent among the martial order — Dareth believes that every weapon must be brought to bear against the Dragon Queen's forces. He weaves protective wards into his swordwork, blending the Measure's discipline with the precision of evocation. When Vogler fell to the Dragon Armies, Dareth rode south with a company of knights, swearing that the shadow would advance no further.
