Character Details

Backstory

Mordecai was a scholar in Greyhawk who stumbled upon a fragment of the Book of Vile Darkness. The fragment served as a conduit for Vecna's will, enslaving Mordecai as a thrall and forcing him to work toward the lich-god's return. For three years he acted as Vecna's unwitting agent before a near-death experience shattered the psychic chains. Now free but forever changed, Mordecai carries alien knowledge in his scarred mind — knowledge that whispers to him in Vecna's voice. He has traveled to Sigil, the City of Doors, determined to find a way to destroy the Maimed God once and for all.
