Character Details
Vorzai earned the rank of kith'rak — war leader — in Vlaakith's armies, commanding a company of githyanki warriors in raids across the Astral Plane. He was a true believer until the day Vlaakith ordered his company to raze a githzerai monastery and execute everyone inside, including children. Vorzai carried out the order, and it broke something in him. He deserted that night, stealing a planar ship and fleeing to Sigil, the one place where Vlaakith's assassins cannot easily operate under the Lady of Pain's shadow. Now he sells his sword to survive, fighting in the Cage's arenas and taking mercenary contracts, haunted by what he did and what he became.
"I stand at parade rest when I'm not fighting. Old habits from the astral legion."
"Independence. I knelt to Vlaakith for a century. I will never kneel again."
"The githzerai children haunt my dreams. I must find a way to atone."
"I solve most problems with violence first. Diplomacy feels like weakness."

A lean, hard-faced githyanki with sharp features and deep-set black eyes that reveal nothing. He wears battered half-plate stripped of all githyanki insignia, and a silver greatsword of astral make hangs across his back. His movements are precise and economical — the habits of a lifetime soldier.
