Character Details
Pip never knew her parents. She was raised by a gang of street urchins in Baldur's Gate's Lower City, learning to pick pockets and crack locks before she could read. As she grew older, she graduated from petty theft to more ambitious scores, eventually catching the attention of the Guild — the city's powerful thieves' organization. She worked for them for three years before a job went wrong and her partner was killed by Flaming Fist mercenaries. Wracked with guilt and fearing the Guild would blame her, Pip went independent. She now takes freelance work along the Sword Coast, building toward the one big score that will set her free from this life forever.
"I always have an escape route planned. If there is no exit, I make one."
"Freedom. No guild, no master, no chains. I work for myself and answer to no one."
"My partner Tam died because of a job I planned. I send coin to his daughter in Baldur's Gate every month without fail."
"I cannot resist a tempting score even when every instinct tells me it is a trap. Greed will be the death of me."
