Character Details
Nara was raised in a hidden druidic grove in the Crescent Forest, one of the last true forests on Athas. Her circle, the Seedkeepers, dedicated themselves to preserving plant life and nurturing the few remaining oases in a world desiccated by centuries of defiling magic. When a templar raiding party discovered and destroyed her grove, killing her mentor and scattering the circle, Nara fled into the desert carrying a pouch of seeds from every species the grove had sheltered. She now wanders the wastes, planting seeds in hidden places, seeking to rebuild the network of green that the defilers have all but destroyed. She harbors a deep hatred for arcane defilers but knows that open confrontation with the sorcerer-kings would mean certain death.
"I carry seeds from a hundred plant species and tend to them obsessively. Every seed that sprouts is a victory against the death of this world."
"Preservation. Athas is dying, but it is not dead yet. Every life saved, every seed planted, pushes back against the end."
"My mentor gave her life so I could escape with the seed collection. I will find a place to grow a new grove, no matter how long it takes."
"I am so consumed by my mission to save the natural world that I sometimes forget the people in it. I have been called cold, and I cannot always argue."

A wiry, sun-hardened woman with calloused hands and eyes that seem to search the barren landscape for any hint of green. She wears rough-spun clothing the color of sand and dust, with dozens of small pouches and vials hanging from her belt, each containing seeds or herbal preparations. A living staff of ironwood, somehow still green at the tip, serves as both walking stick and focus for her magic.
