Character Details

Backstory

Aelindra was a border warden when Izrador's armies broke through the elven defenses and overran the northern reaches of Erethor. She watched her home burn, her community scatter, and her people be enslaved. Rather than flee south to the remaining elven strongholds, Aelindra stayed behind enemy lines, gathering survivors into a resistance cell that strikes from the deep forest. For thirty years she has fought a war she cannot win, ambushing orc patrols, freeing enslaved elves, and smuggling messages between scattered resistance groups. The Shadow's forces have put a bounty on her head large enough to feed a village for a year, but no one has collected it yet.

A lean, hard-eyed wood elf in worn forest leathers daubed with natural camouflage. Her bow is never more than arm's reach away, and her quiver holds arrows with different heads — broadhead, barbed, fire-hardened. Scars from old wounds crisscross her forearms, and she moves through underbrush without making a sound.
